Visiting researcher Dr. Gülnar Özyildirim
The Research and Teaching Unit for School Education and Instructional Research welcomes Dr. Gülnar Özyildirim as a visiting scholar in Nuremberg:
Gülnar Özyildirim graduated from Hacettepe University’s English Language Teaching Program in 2010. She worked as an English teacher at the Ministry of National Education from 2010 to 2013. She completed her master’s degree in the Educational Administration and Supervision Program at Akdeniz University’s Educational Sciences Institute in 2014 and her doctorate in the same university and program in 2018. During her doctoral studies, she was awarded a TÜBİTAK scholarship. She worked as a research assistant at the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Education, Akdeniz University, from 2013 to 2022. She is currently working as an associate professor at the same university.
She has been a guest researcher at FAU, invited by Prof. Dr. Michaela Gläser-Zikuda and supported by the DAAD researcher scholarship program, for three months. During her visit, she plans to conduct research titled “Professional Digital Competence Beliefs: A Comparative Study of German and Turkish Pre-service Teachers.” Her research fields include educational administration, educational psychology, and educational supervision.
